Hello! Sorry for sporadic posting. I went on a mini-work trip and am also finding setting up a routine to include eating, sleeping, dog walks, outfit posts, reading blogs and laundry (to name a few priorities!) is taking a while....
Yesterday I wore my vintage (1960s) Marks & Spencer dress with copper tights, my favourite mustard brogues, and an equally brown cardigan. This was my aiming for a rather late entry to Sheila's Monochromania - although I had to go and add a blue patterned scarf and spoil it...
However, on arriving home, I found that Percy had also submitted a version of Sheila's white-out-
She'll be setting up a blog soon.
She is also learning the art of photobombing (have all bloggers' cats been Skypeing her tips, perhaps?) -
Just the tail on show.
Today I was in the minty greens - iceblue cardi, minty top, dark green scarf & skinnies (still too big, despite taking them in recently) and the new boots -
I added a white accent ;-)
Being ready for (stylish!) dog walking is making me reorganise my wardrobe. For evening or early morning weekend walks, I will put jeans and a big jumper on over the pjs or leggings I wear in the house, and I now have set aside a special dog-walk pile of clothes that can be grabbed when Madame signals that she is ready.
And a coat is important - my quilted jacket has come into its own here, smart for work in the day but for walks - flap pockets to hold poo bags (tmi?) and keys and a hood for the rain..
Although my waxed Barbour cape (sale bargain!) really cannot be beaten - I really enjoy rainy walks in this, with the hood up, arms retreating underneath like a turtle. I might need to get a mini one for Perce...
Hope you are all keeping well xxx
