Hello all! Thanks for the lovely comments welcoming Percy the dog! The last few days have been so much fun, learning about dog behaviour, and adjusting our house to suit her. Are we getting her into a routine, or is she getting us into one? Mr SS had a long day at work the other day and I almost asked him if he needed a w.a.l.k... Oh dear.
The UK has gone cold and rainy - not really sunny anymore. I wore my new wardrobe workhorse cardi (as per last post here). Here is the shape again -
Don't think my first photo does it justice.
Groundhog Day-style, I was interviewing for year-long positions at work - I did last years interviews around the same time last year and have even found what I wore - see post here! Funnily enough, the conference I went to last week in Newcastle, was on exactly the same day as last years - here's last year's outfit, of you are interested.
Do we just do the same thing year-in and year-out and not notice? I always think of my job is fairly varied, but looking back at blog posts, I'm not so sure :-)
On Tuesday, I had a nice phone call - the ankle boots I ordered from Clarks* had arrived. Shock horror - I bought footwear from somewhere other than Camper! The branch near me didn't stock the full range - my friend had seen these and thought of me whilst browsing the web (so kind) - but the shop ordered in two sizes for me to try, which arrived a couple of days later. Very easy.

They lace up, but you use the zip at the side to get them on & off. I waterproofed them straight away, which was a good thing as it rain rain rained the next day -

This was what I wore for a work from home / appointments day. First up a dietician, who confirmed I definitely have a dairy allergy. Good it goes on my medical records, seeing as there is lactose/dairy in lots of medicines. And it was first spotted by a sensible holistic practitioner, not a doctor. Then later, an acupuncture session, which was lovely.
I couldn't resist petting a certain dog, just out of shot.
Here she is -
It's Friday tomorrow, and very welcome it is too. How have your week's been? x
